Days 1–3
⅓ Seven
One-third Seven, two-thirds of the old food, mixed in the same bowl.
Introduce Seven gradually. Most upset stomachs, refused bowls and loose stools trace back to skipping this one step.

Day 7
All Seven
A full bowl of Seven, every meal from here on.
Two minutes, one bowl — the whole routine from pouch to pup.
Use your pup's exact daily amount in ounces — it is in your welcome email and on your member profile. Weigh it rather than eyeballing it; Seven looks like less in the bowl than it is.
Seven needs twice its weight in water, and hot water works best. This is the step people miss most.
Give the food the full ten minutes to absorb the water. Served early, it keeps pulling water in after it is swallowed — and that unsettles the stomach.
Set the bowl down and let your pup enjoy it. Refrigerate anything prepared but not eaten, and use it at the next meal.
Nearly every early issue traces back to one of these four. Check them in order.
Hydration
Seven needs double the water by weight — hot water works best — and a full ten minutes to absorb it. Food served dry or half-hydrated keeps pulling water in after it is swallowed, and that can quickly unsettle the stomach.
Transition
Three days at one-third Seven, three days at two-thirds, and only then a full bowl. Going straight to all Seven is the most common cause of issues in the first week.
Portion
Weigh the daily amount rather than judging it by sight, and check it against the number on your pup's profile. Seven looks like less in the bowl, which makes it easy to add extra.
Pace
Plenty of pups love the aroma and eat faster than their stomach can keep up with. For the first week on full Seven, serve half the meal, then the other half ten minutes after the first is gone.
