We source exclusively from certified organic farms and premier purveyors across the United States. By building personal relationships with our farmers and securing long-term contracts, we ensure a consistent supply for our members. We call it "full ingredient transparency"—you’ll call it peace of mind.

Non GMO: This label only guarantees that the ingredients were not genetically engineered. It does not restrict the use of synthetic pesticides, chemical fertilizers, or sewage sludge during the growing process.
Human Grade: This is a manufacturing standard . It means the food is handled and processed in a way that meets FDA and USDA requirements for human consumption. However, "human grade" ingredients can still be grown with heavy pesticides, steroids, additives and GMOs.
Organic: This is the gold standard because it is a federally regulated production method. It inherently includes the "Non-GMO" requirement but goes much further by prohibiting all pesticides, synthetic additives and environmental toxins. -
At seven, we advocate for a once-a-day feeding schedule that prioritizes a dog’s biological nature.
This 23-hour fasting window triggers autophagy, a cellular "spring cleaning" that recycles damaged cells to slow aging, while activating waste removal and eliminating chronic bloating.
By reducing meal frequency, you lower systemic inflammation—soothing itchy skin and stiff joints—and foster metabolic flexibility, teaching the body to burn stored fat for a leaner, healthier physique.
This ancestral rhythm also promotes mental clarity and ensures deep nutrient absorption.
Ultimately, we believe that this daily digestive rest is one of the most effective ways to support longevity and ensure your pup stays with you for a lifetime.

No. Our whole food ingredients have all the vitamins and minerals that your pup needs.

It definitely looks like less in the bowl, but that is actually by design.
Because SEVEN is freeze-dried, we’ve removed the water weight that typically makes up about 80% of frozen or canned foods.
What remains is a highly concentrated, nutrient-dense meal that packs nearly double the protein and essential nutrients of conventional options.
Since there are no heavy fillers or excess moisture, your pup is getting more actual nourishment from a smaller physical portion.
Also note, members can always adjust their monthly shipment to meet their particular pup’s needs. -
To preserve the peak nutritional value of your dog's food, we utilize a single specialized vacuum chamber to perform a precise two-stage preservation process.
First, the lightly cooked ingredients are flash-frozen to a solid -40°F, locking the cellular structure and nutrients in place.
Once solidified, the machine evacuates the air to drop the internal pressure from the standard 1,013.25 millibars found at sea level to a near-vacuum of just 0.05 millibars.
This extreme environment triggers sublimation, where ice transforms directly into vapor without ever becoming liquid, removing moisture while bypassing the high temperatures that typically degrade proteins and vitamins.
The result is a lightweight, shelf-stable meal that retains the exact biological integrity of fresh.

Please use a gradual transition plan. We suggest starting with three days of ⅓ seven, then three days of ⅔ seven, and only then moving to 100%.
This is important. A smooth transition avoids any potential gastric fireworks. :-) -
Our organic farms are not large and cannot consistently produce for all of their customers.
We strike deals with our purveyors so that we can depend on their product and they can depend on us. -
No. Today’s supply chains have many steps. Many raw food manufactures have had recalls due to contaminated food.
Parents can always forget how long a food was left in the fridge. We avoid these issues by lightly cooking our 100% organic ingredients.
Then freeze-dried to lock in every nutrient at peak freshness. You get the safety of cooked food and the nutrition of fresh.

Zero. Because of the freeze-drying process, seven is completely shelf-stable. Store it in a cabinet like any pantry staple.

As with most dog foods, we recommend gradually introducing Seven to your pup over seven days, then adjusting the serving size and monitoring them over the following two weeks.
This transition period is important for two reasons. First, our food is freeze-dried, meaning all water has been removed. Consequently, Seven weighs only one-fifth of traditional wet dog food. Second, Seven typically contains twice the protein of most dog foods. This high potency and light weight means you will feed your dog much less than you might expect.
Because it generally takes about a month to ensure Seven is a good fit for your dog’s needs, we do not offer small samples. Instead, we encourage you to try us for a month. You can always cancel your subscription at any time.
